Short Stories

The stories are short, the ideas are not.

Short stories are not my usual medium, but I love writing them. When I start a story, it usually turns novel length. The short stories I write are usually the result of a challenge or competition—while I balk at the confines of a word count, I enjoy the precision and discipline it takes to craft them. At times I struggle, but in the end feel a sense of accomplishment. Some of these have actually won. I hope you enjoy reading them.

The stories are short, the ideas are not. They don’t always follow my ethos. Not all are mysteries or thrillers. Some are comedic, others dramatic. Some are science, all are fiction.
